If I used the cheat in order to make money and fast forward tasks, would..

Well, depending on the cheat. If you just go to 2013+ to get money, then yes the whole Quest will disappear, like what happened to mine. But before the santa Event went away I was doing the cheat where I would
1. Go to home screen and double tap the home button
2. Hold the Sims freeplay and press the minus (it will not delete the app)
3. Go to settings and change the date to 2011, 2010, 2009, etc.
4. Go back to Sims Freeplay
5. Wait for it to connect
6. Once it connected, I went to home screen again, pressed the red minus button, and went to settings and changed the date to TODAY.. Make sure it isnt tomorrow or 2013, etc.
7. If you change your date to the future, your santa Quest will go away :,( so be aware

Ps. If you want buildings and constructions to go faster, start the construction before the CURRENT date, then go to present day, and Voila! Your building will be completed.

PPS. (Sorry for so many ps ^-^') If you want your Sim's action to go faster, then make sure that once the game connects to the past date, like for example, last year, and go to the household where the action is taking place. Then, don't go anywhere else, make sure your screen is at the household you want it to be where the action is, go to home, settings, and change the date to current.

I hope this helped a lot and don't get your santa Quest taken away! Cause then u'll be missing out on a lot of stuff

I agree , don't use cheat time I've lost my Quest to Santa :( I only had one goal finished and my price was this fire place.. UntIl now Santa did not came back...
