Question for The Sims FreePlay
My Sims baby girl turned into a boy toddler. I know it has happened to other people before, and if I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it? It wouldn't be a problem, but it looks kinda weird having a boy run around with a girl's name.

The first time you have a baby it's a boy second time it's a girl you have to get the crib and make another baby

The first baby is a boy the second baby you have is a girl you can't change it but you can make another one when the baby is being made there will be a pink circle around the baby sign on the crib that means it's a girl

Sometimes the colors of the circle above the crib can change from being blue to pink.

That doesn't answer the question. The person who started the thread asked if there's a way to fix the glitch that a girl baby turns into a boy when they are a toddler. This happened to me too. Is there a way to fix this? Because as the first person said, it looks weird with a boy running around with a girl name because as a baby they were a girl.

There is no way to fix it srry! It happened to my sister too! (She named her baby "girl" Emersen, and when she changed it into a toddler it was a boy!) she just decides to call him Em, even though the iPod still said Emersen. So you can just pretend! Also, the first two comments are wrong! I have a HUGE sim town with 8 kids and I've had 7 girls and 1 boy! The girls all came first too! Hope this is helpful!

Your first sim or baby can be a girl maybe you accidentally turned into a boy.(On the bottom a button with Male or Female signs)Plus how can you tell apart two look alike cribs???

Ok this is weird, when I click on my baby boy whose name is Keith, it say daughter under his name! Hope it doesn't turn into a girl, cuz I already have a baby girl! Please if u have any info that could help me! Probably a glitch

This happened to me to the baby's name was Ben and I always called him a boy but I finally noticed the daughter sign but it explains a lot because I realized when completing the musical expression hobby I kept getting the male and female outfits but every time I went to that one meal baby it only gave me the dresses and not the mill clothes for the mail big so I got confused but then after that I realized when I saw the daughter part I'm like that's why it won't get freed up mail because this baby classified as femalejustbethxo answered:
So last night I was playing Sims 2, and my baby girl grew into a toddler boy! I was so mad. What I did though was quit the game without saving went back into the game and had the birthday all over. The baby girl then grew into a toddler girl. I guess it was just a glitch. I use Cheats quite frequently and some times they're known to cause a problem. I am constantly saving my game though throughout the time I'm playing so if anything goes wrong I just quit and redo it. Most of the time it works. Just remember to save your game after anything important happens, just in case anything goes wrong. I always save my game after things like, my sim getting pregnant, or getting married, or has a baby. Hope this is helpful.

Click CTRL SHIFT C and hold all of those down, a box at the top should appear. Then type "testingcheatsenabled true" then hold CTRL SHIFT and click on the toddler. Choose "edit in create a sim" and change the gender of the baby.
How I fixed the glitch is I went into my Sims 3 file on my laptop and deleted the things (without going any deeper than the sims file itself) ending in package. Then I went into the thumbnails folder and deleted all the contents. DONT WORRY! This is not permenent, next time you boot the game up, it will search for those files and replace them with the correct information so that your game contenues to run smoothly without that glitch. It also eliminates other glitches as well.

Once your baby is born you can click the "Ultimate Makeover" button, (must have 12 lps) there you can change the gender, and or name. If you don't change anything, you will get your lps back.

The same thing happened to me. My baby boy grew up into a girl toddler. I went to support from the Sims freeplay game and told them what happen and they sent me 12 gems to do makeover so I could change him back.

I actually am having a very similar problem except my toddler girl turned into a child boy. My real boy is prettier than the "girl". It's really wierd. I guess it's just a glitch? I wish I could help sry

Ok so,,,,,,,,
Press ctrl+shift+c at the same time. then this little command bar will show up in the left hand corner of your screen. type in there: testingcheats true. Don't put a fullstop btw!
cas.fulleditmode. yet again no full stop only a full stop in the middle of cas and fulledit mode. Now go off the command bar using the same way as you did to get to the command bar. Now get someone in your sims family to press ''plan outfits'' now what u wanna do is in the left hand corner, at the bottom you will see all the members of the family. Now what you wanna do is press on the toddler you wanna change the gender of and then press the sign of female in the left top corner! Enjoy! PS: Remember to press the tick sign!
