How do I skip a goal???

I'm not sure, if you can skip a goal. I think you have to complete the goal, no skipping.

~ NVM... You can skip a goal, but i think you have to be on a certain goal, or a certain level, to be able to skip a goal.. AND BTW skippping a goal cost 5 lifepoints!

I got to skip a goal by the time I past the have a birthday go so you might get to skip goals and it cost 5 live points hope this helps

Don't use the cupcake to skip goal it does not work I tried they lied

No don't use the cupcake they just want you to waste your lp anyway the cupcake is for like for example 3 people are ill you use the cupcake for 5 lifestyle points

You don't use the cupcake to skip goals, the cupcake fills all your Sims needs. Here is the correct way to skip a goal (you must reach a certain level before skip option is available):

1. You click on the goal in the bottom left of the screen; it will then pop up in full detail in the middle of the screen.
2. On the left side of the goal bubble you will see a triangle that resembles a "play" symbol; Click on it.
3. You will be asked if you want to skip the goal for 5LPs; Click YES.

You will still earn whatever reward is being offered. In many cases the reward is a LP so you will only be out 4LPs.

My people were healthy and I tried 2 skip a goal with cupcake/5LP but it just increased their healthy by like a millimeter and that was all. IT DOES NOT WORK!!! TOTAL WASTE OF LPs!!!!!!!!

If you are on the newest update (the one you can have babies) you can't skip goals :(

I really do know how to send them to work ! ! It worked for me , ok so for example if your sim works at the stadium the work starts at 8am. Minimise the sims and go to settings and go to time. Turn automatic off and set the time to 8am the go back to the sims and it should say 'Its time for, Emma Johnson to go to work !!' and you go to the job things the bottom right corner(for iPad) and the briefcase should be flashing . Your welcome

When you click on the goal it comes up with a orange arrow then you click on it and it comes up with a cupcake then you press on it and skip the goal for 5 lp.

I hate that with the new update you can't skip goals! I don't want any children around. Ugh! What is wrong with EA that they make us get children and put them into competition?!?!

So as people have told you before, the cupcake is only for increasing health levels. If you want to skip goals you have to spend 5LP on it. (That's what people say)
I do not see a way of skipping goals! You just need to accept them and spend as much money/LP's as it tells you to or get children. Whatever the goal you just have to put up with it! Even if it does include spending all your money/LP's!
I would love to help but I cannot find a way!

Click on your goal. In the corner, there will be, an orange fast forward. Click it, then press Skip for 5LP. This is the only way to skip. DO NOT USE THE CUPCAKE BUTTON. Use of cupcake button is to inspire your sims.
