How do you get something that sells for 500 money?

When you sell stuf if is worth I1/10 of it's amount you bought it for so I don't recon you have somet that expensive so I would sell all the flowers outside you Sims Houses these are worth 50 each and there's Halsey eight of em and you don't buy them there already there

Another good way to get money is by...

1.) Choose the most expensive crop in your garden

2.) Go to the settings app and press wifi. Then, turn your wifi off.

3.) Go to general (in settings), scroll down to date and time, and click set date and time. If it isn't there, turn 'set automatically' off. Then click the full date button (ex. Sunday, October 5, 2012). After that, change it one year ahead (so 2013)

4.) double click the home button

5.) hold down the Sims icon, until a red minus sign comes in the top left corner.

6.) click that minus sign

7.) Turn on wifi

8.) Go back to the game and your crops WILL be ready



9.) if you want to do this again, first change the date back to 2012 go to the app, and then repeat these steps!
