How do I delete a sim? I have to add a "baby" but I can't until I get rid of a sim. I already tried changing the clothes and pressing the red button with the person and the "X" over it, but it says the sim is needed for a tutorial so I'm not allowed to abondoned it. Please help!

Click the button on the right hand side which brings you to the section where you can change clothes/hairstyle etc. When there you will see a red button at the top-left of the screen. This allows you to delete a sim.

Re the above answer--in the question, you'll see that the poster mentioned not being able to delete a sim via the method you described due to getting a "sim is needed for the tutorial" error. I'd also like an answer to this, as I'm having the same issue. What tutorial? Why provide the option to delete if it's never functional?

You Can delete sims but it can't be you're original one! Hope it helps!

To anybody that deleted there sims: If you deleted you'r sims freeplay app and want all the progress and money back sadly there isn't a way to do that but there is something helpful with the money and it should make the progress go up and the town value. This cheat makes money mail pop up and it gives you you'r pay from the houses. Here is what you do: Buy enough gardens for all you'r sims and have all you'r sims plant most expensive plant. Next go to you'r settings and go to general. You will find an option that says set date and time, go to it. Turn you'r time to a year later. Next double click the home button and you should find the sims freeplay app. Hold it down and when the minus sign pops up hit it. Finally go back to you'r game and all the plants will be done and the money in you'r mailbox will be there and if you go to the town you will see that everyone has the money icon above their house. Well I hope this helped and don't forget you can always use this cheat.

-WARNING: Make sure you turn you'r date back!

Select the sim you want to delete, then select a closet or drawer. On the top left corner of the screen there will be a red button, click on it to delete your sim.
