I just bought a share house..Why can't I stop adding sims to my share house?

There seems to be a lot of us with this problem and EA said it will be 2-4 weeks before an update.there would not be so big a problem if we could remove a sim we did not want. In the marriage and babies 2.0 update it specifies you will be able to remove a sim and their house. We can remove the house why not the sim? When I asked this question it immediately disappeared. . Perhaps it is not a glitch at all but a way of testing how many Sims are too many as well as the ingenuity, loyalty and patience of us all eh?

A way to get into and out of the house is by having one of your other Sims over at the sharehouse and get them into some kind of relationship. You should then be able to access the sharehouse via the Relationships panel. However, none of my sharehouse residents show up in the simtracker or on my sim count. It's therefore impossible to get them over to the other Houses in town.
