In order to have an Adult sim tend to a baby's needs, you have to click on the adult. You will then have an option to meet the baby's needs. In order for the baby to sleep, you have to click on baby itself.

Whenever I try to have the adults interact, none will and will say no! How can I then get them to interact with a new infant on Sims

your adult sims are probably saying no because if there's something in the way of the crib , meaning they can't properly get to the baby.

It happens to me to but there is nothing in the way???
Guest answered:

Chances are your baby's crib is facing you with the hood closest to you. You have to turn the crib to the open side in order to reach your child, and from then on you'll have full access to your child!
