How do you build a park to complete the task to get a sim to BBQ in the park?

I'm trying to figure that out too but I only have 8 Sims and I need 10 but it is not letting me create another.

I cant build the park when i push build it doesnt whant to buildGuest answered:
All you need to do is go to The Town Map and buy the Park (located in front of the first row of Houses). It will take around 12 hours to build (I think...)
Then once the Park has finished building, you enter it via The Town Map and go to your SimTracker and use the whistles to get everyone to come over. Click on a BBQ and click "Use Barbecue" for 30 minutes. Hope this helped!

if you keep asking for goals on the bottom right corner then eventually it will give you "build a business" the option to build the park will then be available. It costs 500 simoleans and takes 2 hours to build. It is located in front of the firemen. Hope this helped I was curious about it too

How the heak do u build the park it's not near the fire departmentEmily Moore1999 answered:
You have to click on the Park and you have to make sure that you have all of the people that is needed to build it. Then click build. And then you have to wait 24 hours or so for it to be completed after it has been completed you them have to click on the park and you with get LP points and you town coins will go up.

Same issue here have 22 sims and level 29, states I have to take a sim to the park and then find a probe? I have all main building created but not enough to yet do the movie studio?? Does the park become available after this? And also it keeps asking me to buy animals for my sims but there is nothing showing to create the pet store

If it's a blank piece of ground, there should'v been a symbol with eople on itfor example I'm level 8 and I built the Park with no problems.
