How do you make your sim go to the bathroom?

I had that problem...then discovered there wasn't a door for Sim to pass through to get to the toilet. I had to buy a door and put it in place before my Sim found relief!!

The bathroom door can be locked and the sim can't get in

The sim probably can't reach the toilet. Have you checked which way the toilet is facing? You need a space free in front of the toilet. If the toilet is facing the wrong way the sim can't reach it and will refuse to go. Try going into build mode and rotating the toilet.

I have moved the toilet to face the RIGHT way (Wich you said) and it still won't go please help me!

I had that problem for a long long while but then realised why. I wish I'd thought about it more because I wasted about 2000 Simoleons on buying new stuff.

But you learn by your mistakes, eh?

You need to plae your toilet in the bathroom. Sounds obvious, but some people put them initialy in the lounge or the kitchen. The Sim won't use the toilet unless it's in the correct room and oriented correctly.

No, I put mine in the living room if they're about to pee on the floor. That has nothing to do with it, because they can't tell. They're not people, they don't know. Want me to repeat that? They can't tell, and they DO NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!!!

It's either something (object) is blocking the pathway for your Sim to walk to the toilet. Or... Probably the door issue, like they mentioned up there ^.^ .. .
If they said "uh-huh" and there was a speech bubble with footprints init.. Then it's definitely one of these options.

You have to give them a rest before doing the action; try doing the shortest sleep time in their bed. That worked for me😀

Use the toilet in the Park it's a green cubicle it's on the other side of the park under a tree
