My evee has to be at the high of it's friendship with because it's lvl 47(i use rare candy to elevate to 48) and it's 10:00 p.m. And it keeps trying to evolve into espeon so I need to know what I'm doing wrong

In the Battle Frontier in the bottom right corner there is giant waterfall but to get to it there is an odd tree there that wiggles when you press "A".
