Thanks for reading hope the cheat works for you
Hey, the old Pokemon games are old, but there's always new stuff to be learned about them. For instance, in R/B/Y versions, there is one Pokemon that you can catch that will make defeating the Third, fifth, seventh and eighth simple and easy. His/Her name is Dugtrio; a little trio of moles [digletts] that can be caught in the tunnel near Cermillion City. Dugtrio is pretty much the ultimate straight ground type in the game. He is found at level 29-30 and knows the move Dig when yu catch him. This move is going to be one of your favorites for defeating the gym leaders I mentioned earlier.
Surge may be tough with his level 24 Riachu, but fear not, nowwith your new partner in crime Dugtrio, you can beat him easily, and his cute little electic attacks won't affect you. Now it's tiem for the fun part:
Destroy him!
Now the big bad army veteran is in shambles, and you're in the winner's circle.
Now just train Dugtrio like you would with any other pokemon. (my advice: teach him Cut)
It's much the same with all the other Gym Leaders. Except you might wanna get a fire type with Dig for backup. (You get TM28 [dig] from the rocket dude in Cerulean)
Happy Gaming!
Walk around Viridian Forest for a while. You can find a pidgeoto (sorry for my bad spelling) Lv. 8-9! [Make sure you have an alternitive Pokemon if Pikachu is too strong for it! And bring lots of Poke balls!]If you catch it you have a pretty strong Pokemon that can beat most of the wild pokemon! Also after you get Pidgeotto, [or before] catch a caterpie, and train it into a metopod, then a butterfree. This makes it easy to beat brock. Or to beat him catch a Mankey to the West of Viridian city and train it until it knows Low Kick.
Hopefully I helped some of you out there!
Thanks for reading!
Since you start out with Pikachu, his electric-type moves will do absolutely nothing to Brock's pokemon. There are two simple solutions to this problem: one, catch a different Pokemon, and use that instead, for Pikachu doesn't have a lot of normal-type moves. Or, you can train Pikachu until it learns Swift. Swift is still pretty weak, but by the time you get it, Pikachu will be at a high level.
Ok, you know how hard it is to catch legendary Pokemon as the pokeball nearly always misses. The trick is to catch a Pokemon like haunter or hypno that can learn hypnosis. Train it up to level 45 for the three legendary birds (articuno, moltres and zapdos) and level 65 for mewtwo but KEEP HYPNOSIS. Then when you come across the legendarys use hypnosis and the pokeball will always catch the legendary.
Good Luck in catching the legendarys
ECHALK
P.S. Remember to bring revive and hyper potion.
If you want the strongest Pokemon of any type possible, you must follow there are a few things you need to know.
1. Pokemon grow stronger with a trainer than in the wild. If you catch a wild level 30 Pokemon and compare it to a lv 30 Pokemon of the same kind who has been trained from a lower level, you will see that the trained pokemon's stats are higher. Try to catch the Pokemon at the lowest level possible and train it yourself. It takes longer but is worth it if you want to raise a truly powerful pokemon.
2. Don't let anybody babysit your pokemon! Pokemon also gain less stats per level in the care of a babysitter. Keep them with you, and they'll grow the best.
3. Evolve your Pokemon as soon as possible! Higher stages of Pokemon gain more stat points every time they level, although they don't learn moves quite as quickly as their lower stages do. Almost every Pokemon learns all their possible moves eventually, so if you are looking to raise a high level Pokemon, evolve them quickly for max stats.
Happy training everyone!
To get all the starter Pokemon you need some requirements as follows-
Bulbasaur- pikachu level 20+ and full health , use potions 6-20 times even if they say "no effect"
Charmander-talk to the guy above cerulean city ,say yes.
Squirtle- defeat lt. Surge and talk to inspector jenny.
When you bike on cycling road, if you stop, you start moving down. To stop completely, hold (B) button and you'll stop.
If you know the Mew cheat this will help get evolved Pokemon at lv7.
First do not take the bike road to fuschia.
Second do the Mew cheat with other trainers on the bike road.
This will help you get rare pokemon.i found a second hitmonchan a dragonite,a pinsir, a magmar,a gengar & an arbok all at lv 7.
Hope I helped:D
This is a glitch I found myself.if you know the Mew cheat you can do this glitch.1st do the start of the cheat from the underground pathway and save at the door. Because you have to battle him but then you can restart the game. Once you walk a second step the gambler should spot youwhile hes looking the other way making him have eyes in the back of his head.
Then he turns round and walks towards you then you restart
Unfortunately, in Pokemon Blue and Red, getting all three of the Main Starter Pokemon (Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle) takes about half or all of the game to do. Pokemon Yellow isn't the same. In fact you could have all three by the time you have completed as little as 3 or 4 Cities!
It starts with Charmander. Get to Cerulean City. This is the Blue City with Misty as the Gym Leader. First defeat Misty. You're Pokemon must be around Level 20 or higher if this Gym is a breeze. Then go North where there's two passage ways. If you go up the Right one you notice there's a wall blocking which means you must go up the Left one.
Beat all of the Nugget Guys, including the final guy at the top. Once again, make sure your Pokemon are Level 20 or higher for this challenge to be a breeze.
Now after defeating all of these go straight up and left. There should be a guy standing in a Box with a PokeBall nearby him. It's not a Pokeball, but that isnt the concern. Talk to this guy, and he will give you his Charmander. Next is Bulbasaur. Go right from the Guy who gave you Charmander. Go through the tiny Forest-like enviornment, and go through the Trainers. Then you get to a big House. This is Bill's House. Once entered you'll find a Pokemon standing there. Talk to it, it's actually Bill. He tells you he's messed up an experiment. He tells you to go and switch the Switcher thing or something. As he enters the Chamber, go to the Computer and Press A to do the Job. He thanks you and gives you a Ticket to the S.S. Anne Cruise Ship involving Trainers. Ignore this and head back into the City. Now what's this? The House just to the Right of the Passage Ways heading North has some Police Woman at the front of it, and she's subsided from the Door allowing you in. Go in and straight out the hole in the back of the House. Defeat the Team Rocket Person and they'll give you Dig. Give Dig to one of your Pokemon.
Now go back to the Pokemon Centre. There's a House just to the Left of it. Enter and there's a Woman surrounded by lots of Pokemon. Talk to her and she will give you her Bulbasaur. And there you have it. A Side Note: My Pokemon were Level 20s and Over naturally from my heavy Training Prior to entering Cerulean City, so I'm not sure if your Pokemon HAVE to be Level 20 or Over to recieve the Pokemon, but I'd advise you to have them over Level 20 to beat Opponents as well as recieve the Pokemon.
Next is Squirtle. This will be less specific.
Go back to Cerulean City. Go into the House Team Rocket wrecked and go out the back of it.
Go around the House and head straight down. Not back in by the Gym, but further downards. Head all the way down the Path wih two lines on either Edge until you find a small building. Enter it and go through the Underpath.
Once you've got out of the Underpass and out of the next Little Building, there is a big patch of Grass. Head left and follow the Grass-less Road. Take on the Challengers. After defeating the Trainers and continuing to follow the Path until you get into a City where the Colour goes Orange. I don't know the name of it.
Get on the S.S. Anne (To the Right of the Mart) and get the HM Cut on the Ship. This is by Getting to the Captain who is being Sick in his Bin. You pat his back and he gives you Cut.
Defeat the Gym Leader Lt. Surge, and then go to Officer Jenny who is to theLeft of the Mart and she will give you Squirtle.
And there you have it!
Happy gaming!
All you have to do is when pikachu's hp is full give it an item like a potion between 5 & 15 times & talk to pikachu & he should have hearts over him.[This helps alot to get bulbasaur]
It's almost like the Mew cheat but you don't battle the youngster with the slowpoke. So go to the underground path between Celadon and Levender town and you will come out at the other end. DONT MOVE. You should save your game here just incase you mess up. Make sure you have a Pokemon that knows FLY.
Now take one step down and imediantly press START. If you did this right, the Gambler won't see you. Now fly to Lavender, and the Gambler will see you but won't go after you. When you get to Lavender you won't be able to use the start, a or b buttons because the game THINKS that you're battling the Gambler.
Go into the Pokemon Tower and onto the third floor. Let the channeler in the middle of the room see you and battle her. When you win, you can use the start a and b buttons now. If you have escape rope I suggest you use it because if you run into wild Pokemon there is a little chance that you could run into something else than Missingno.
Exit the Pokemon Tower and walk towards the path going west of Lavender town and the start menu will popup. Press b and you will enter a battle with Missingno!
To get Aerodactyl go to the building above the museum in pewter city and talk to the man beside the stone. He will give you "old amber" take this to the Pokemon research lab on cinnibar island. Talk to the scientist and he will put it in his ressurection machine. Go away and come back and he will give you Aerodactyl Lv.30
The programing of this game was very bad. Don't worry if you find a glitch. It's just normal.
Actually, the easiest way to beat Brock without training your Pokemon so much, is to catch a Mankey. I caught mine in the block of grass just south of Pewter City. When you catch it, it should know Scratch.
However, if you get lucky, you might find one that knows Low Kick. I caught mine at Level 6, and I trained it to Level 10 in the grass and the trainer before Brock.
Since fighting is Super-Effective against rock, it will be easy. You can also catch a Nidoran (Nidoran is the purple one) and then train it to learn Double Kick. That will, however, take a lot of training, and it may have to evolve into a Nidorino first.
Keep in mind that I think Mankey is very rare in that spot south of Pewter City (took me about 20 tries) so catch it the first chance you get. Also, if you are confused, this sign means male () and this means female ().
When you are going through Mt. Moon, catch 2 clefairys. You can evolve one to get the pokedex data, and trade the other one for Mr. Mime on the Pewter side of digglets tunnel.
