When your SIM's circle turns red, that means they are approaching the next life stage. The color is kind of a Warning that if you don't have enough L.P. To give them more time for the sim's life dreams in his or her current stage they have to move on. Don't worry if you don't complete the dreams in time because you can do extra work for the next stage. Job related dreams are usually easy for Adult Sims so if that's an option for your SIM she'll be easy to catch up with.

Thank God it means that they are approaching the next stage of life and it's a Warning that you have little time left to finish their dreams. I literally thought my baby was dieing
