Buy the Car dealer business. You can find it above the supermarket

1. Select the town view.
2. Pay to build the auto show, and wait for it to build.
3. Click on the auto shop, select the type of car you would like to purchase.

Well actually you have to build the car dealership, pay like 8500 simeleons for the cheapest car, and then you sims will get in it and earn lifestyle points

It still wont work I've tried it many times. But if you want a baby go to infant on furniture and get a crib. You have to wait for that to load and it will say add a sim and there you have your baby!

Well this is what to do
1 Go to town map and find car dealership
2 click on it and wait for it to load
3 choose a car
4 voila! And you're done

If you want a car, here are the steps:
1: Go to the town map
2: Find the car dealership and buy it
3: when it is done loading, tap it, and select the car you would like to purchase.
4: Use your car.
