Try rotating the baby's bed and maybe your sims will be able to get to it. The blue feet means something is blocking them. If you're desperate, put it in the middle of a room with nothing around it and see if your sims can get to it. Also, make sure they can get into the room that the baby is in.

I'm not exactly sure about the blue feet, but I know from personal experience that moving it WILL NOT help. Try waiting until the the baby's needs are all red, then perform the action. All actions (except having a birthday) will help fill up one of it's meters.

I'm having the same problem, but I somehow got two, identical babies when I only wanted one. I now have one in the crib, and another laying in the middle of the kitchen floor! The parents won't take care of the baby, I choose for it to sleep, but it stops in a couple of minutes. I tried to move the baby, but the game says I can't move a baby not in a crib

I had the same problem till I moved the cot from against the wall

If moving the cot doesn't work; Try having the baby's birthday. After a while the sim might not want to take care of the baby and it may be time for the baby to become a toddler.

I tried going out of the house to the town view, collected some XPs then went into a different house then back to the first house with the baby and now her Mom will tend to her. I don't know why the Mom would not take care of her baby for a while.

If the blue feet appear then turn the crib around
