Yinlin is a 5-star Electro rectifier character who deals consistent damage both on and off the field, marking enemies with her Forte Circuit who then gets automatically targeted and inflicted with Electro DMG when attacked. In this page, we will quickly discuss how to build Yinlin.

Yinlin Overview

Yinlin's Outro Skill boosts the Electro and Resonance Liberation damage of the next character, immensely benefiting electro-DPS characters like Calcharo or even non-electro DPSes like Encore and Havoc-Rover who need more time on the field. Yinlin's rotation is quite short and you'll want to switch her out quickly to maximize your team's overall damage. Yinlin can be a main DPS if you want to, though her damage output will not be as ideal compared to setting her as a sub-DPS in quick-swap teams.

Stringmaster is Yinlin's signature weapon with an ungodly Crit Rate stat, generic DMG bonus boost, and ATK% boos when dealing resonance skill damage or even when the user is off the field.
Cosmic Ripples is the standard 5-star rectifier that you can get from the weapon selector or through the standard convene. This weapon has high base ATK, increases energy regen and basic attack damage (stackable).
Augment is a 4-star rectifier that provides a massive ATK boost when the user activates their ultimate. Perfect for Yinlin if her build is geared towards quick swap and energy regeneration.
Jinzhou Keeper is a 4-star rectifier that increases the user's ATK and HP by releasing an intro skill, which works well with Yinlin's frequent quick swap rotations.

Best Active Echoes

Here are the top three choices for this character's active echo (first slot):

Impermanence Heron	This echo is best for a quick-swap build Yinlin, at the cost of a lowered personal damage output. After transformation and hitting an enemy with this echo, Yinlin can recover Resonance Energy. If Yinlin swaps out and triggers her Outro skill within a short time, the next character's damage will be boosted.
Tempest Mephis	This is a strong echo when Yinlin is using the 5pc Void Thunder echo set. You can cancel the second attack after transformation to gain Electro DMG and Heavy Attack DMG boost.
Thundering Mephis	This echo is better used for the entire duration since you can perform up to six consecutive attacks after echo skill activation. After the combo, the user will gain Electro DMG and Resonance Liberation boost.
