Jiyan is an Aero broadblade user who is introduced at the launch of the game and still remains a strong DPS as of this writing. In this page, we will do a quick overview about how to build Jiyan.

Jiyan Overview

Jiyan's kit has an efficient, synergized combination of hard-hitting attacks and great crowd control. His basic attacks will fill up his Forte Gauge that buffs his skill and ultimate. When using either of skill or ult, a portion of his Forte gauge is used up to enhance the skill and ult's damage.

The bulk of his damage will come from his using his Resonance Liberation (ult) and entering Qingloong Mode for a few seconds. While this mode is active, he has enhanced anti-interruption state. Additionally, his Basic Attack, Heavy Attack and Dodge Counter are transformed into a special condition that performs 3 continuous hits (aero damage) and treated as Heavy Attack DMG.

Verdant Summit is Jiyan's signature weapon and significantly increases his damage output, thanks to its Crit DMG main stat, boost to generic DMG%, and significant heavy attack damage boost to boot.
Lustrous Razor is a standard 5-star broadblade with ATK% as its substat and energy regen as its passive effect. Jiyan's Resonance Liberation DMG is increased whenever he activates his Resonance Skill. This DMG boost can be stacked up to three times as well.
Autumntrace is a 4-star battle pass weapon that has Crit Rate main stat and increases Jiyan's ATK whenever he deals Basic Attack or Heavy Attack DMG, stacking up to 5 times.
Helios Cleaver is a decent 4-star alternative which increases Jiyan's ATK every 2s, stacking up to 8s after using a Resonance Skill. The only downside is that the ATK boost will reset within 6s after reaching the max number of stacks.

Best Active Echoes

Here are the top three choices for this character's active echo (first slot):

Feilian Beringal	This echo deals a solid two-hit attack upon activation and also boosts Jiyan's Aero DMG and Heavy Attack DMG after the second attack hits. These damage bonuses complement Jiyan's kit well.

Echo Stats Priority

These are the primary stats that you should prioritize equipping to the character.

Crit Rate/ Crit DMG	Aero DMG or Energy Regen	ATK%

These are the priority substats that you want for each of your echoes. Since substats can't be re-spec'ed or re-tuned, you can only hope to get these substats; otherwise, you have no choice but to keep Leveling up echoes that match her ideal main stat and hope that the substats follow suit.
