How to Fast Travel

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is an action-RPG and similar to other games in the genre it will involve a lot of searching in the world. There is however a fast travel system in the game that will save you plenty of time trudging on foot to a town to sell the items you have found. In Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem you will be searching dark dungeons and hellscapes fraught with danger. As you progress you will also be picking up lots of swords, pistols, helmets, and other useful items from the enemies you defeat and the random corpses you find. Eventually your inventory will become full and you will have no choice but to head to a town and sell some of the items you don't want in order to create space in your inventory for better items you find when you next venture out.

To avoid tiresome walking from one place to another you can use the fast travel system to easily and quickly reach your location. To use it go to the main screen and look for a small blue icon that is at the bottom. Pressing this button will cast a spell that opens a portal and teleport you back to town. When you arrive you will be able to visit NPC's and sell items, then go back to the portal, click on it again, and it will take you back to exactly the same place you left from. To do this however will require that you search the areas you visit for the portal waypoints, all the areas will have them and it is essential that you find them to make backtracking in the game much easier. Portal waypoints can be teleported to at any time.

Keep in mind if you use a portal waypoint to get back to town, then close the game, you will need to use the map screen to get back to the closest point you can. If you press 'M' on your keyboard to open the map you will be able to see the locations of any portal waypoints that you have discovered.
