Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Okay so I'm in the temple of time thats in the sacred grove and I'm trying to get my third mirror piece but I'm stuck I just got the dominion rod and gotten the statue out of the room it was in but when I take it to the next bell to transport it I can't get it up because theres a big step and I don't know what to do to make the step go up

So if anybody knows how please tell me

Look around for some jar like fixtures, you can move these onto the switches in the room which will move the step.

Master hunter I'm not talking about the first big step I'm talking about the next one in the room with the little spining tops and the big statue that has the eye that shoots fire oh and I also know that the switch is under that big statue but I can't knock it over

What you have to do is to use the big statue to destroy the laser eye dude. To do this press 'B' and as you swing your rod he will swing his axe. Hope I could help.
