Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Hi, I've been trying to beat the goblin dude that stole the little boy in hyrule field for awhile now, and I just can't seem to do it. Can Someone give me a hint? I need help!

OK when you are doing it you may notice that there are goblin archers. After you kill them they will come back to life. For now just ignore them. Focus on the one that has the kid. Get close to him. Then press a to chase after his if he runs away. When you are right next to him do the spin attack. Repeat.
*SPOILERS*
When he runs to the bridge follow. It will activate a cut scene of a moblin(I think it is an archer.) You can't leave until you defeat the guy who took the kid. To defeat him stay to the right of the bridge and run toward him. Quickly go to the left when he is close enough and hit him. You can do 3 regular sword slashes or 2 spin attacks. (I find the spin attacks easier.) He will fall off the bridge and you have rescued the kid.
