Sacred Grove
Is it possible to get back into the place where I did battle with the Skullkid? I am a wolf and don't get any signs to howl going back into this area.

The howling stone is at the entrance to the lost woods. If you've defeated the skull kid the first time, you can still get to the entrance of the lost woods from outside the forest temple, but the rest of the woods will be sealed off.
If you want full access to the lost woods again, you'll have to wait until you are searching for the Temple of Time dungeon.
