No Shield

I've lost my metal shield in the Goron mines after saving. The general store is locked in Kariko village. How do I buy another one as the wooden shield just burns. The malo mart does not exist yet, the postman has told me to go to the store. Everything is locked up. Please help me.....

I don't really under stand what your saying but heres what could be wrong the store will not let you come in at night or in the morning that might be your problem good luck
