How to get Weapons

In V Rising you either find or craft weapons and whether you playing in PvP or PvE it is crucial that you get your hands on a decent one to help keep your character alive during combat. Weapon Bonuses

There are seven different weapon categories in V Rising and they all have different stats and bonuses. This means that some weapons are more suitable for certain situations than others. Listed below are the seven categories of weapons and what bonus they grant you.

Sword:

+25% damage to vegetation.

Axes:

+25% damage to trees.

Mace:

+25% damage to stone/ore.

Spear:

+25% damage to living creatures.

Reaper:

+25% damage to undead.

Slasher:

+25% damage to vegetation.

Crossbow:

This is the only ranged weapon in the game.

Weapon Quality

The weapons in V Rising are also divided into 8 different qualities which are unlocked when you reach a specific level in the game and meet the corresponding requirement. Listed below are the different weapon qualities and what you must do to unlock them.

Unlock Bone Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 3. These weapons can be crafted very early on through quest progression.

Unlock Reinforced Bone Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 6. These weapons are unlocked through early quest progression.

Unlock Copper Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 9. These weapons are unlock through quest progression.

Unlock Merciless Copper Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 12. These weapons can be researched at the Research Table.

Unlock Iron Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 15 and unlock Quincey the Bandit King by defeating the V-Blood boss.

Unlock Merciless Iron Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 18. These weapons can be researched at the Study.

Unlock Dark Silver Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 21 and unlock the Captain by defeating the V-Blood boss Octavian.

Unlock Sanguin Weapons:

Reach Gear Level 24. These weapons can be researched at the Athenaeum.
