Rising V How to Craft Guide

Once you reach the second quest in Rising V you will be able to craft items. However, after a few starter items you will need to build a Simple Workbench to make more complex recipes. Take a look at our How to Craft Guide to find out how you build and unlock the workbenches that can be used to create a whole array of weapons and armor sets.

How to Craft

Step 1

Open the V Rising Inventory Tab. The default button on your keyboard for the 'Inventory' tab is the 'Tab' key. Use this to open your inventory.

Step 2

On the inventory tab, click on the 'Crafting' label so that you are taken to the 'Crafting' tab. Here you can see all the items you are able to craft. Click on the item you want to craft, and crafting will immediately begin. There is no need to remain stationary while crafting is taking place, you can continue doing whatever you need to do. To begin with, most crafts will only take a few seconds to complete anyway.

Step 3

Once the item has been crafted, it will usually show up by default on your buttons in the 1 to 9 position. When you craft better versions of your existing items like swords or axes, the newly crafted item will replace the weaker version you had before. This means that there is no need to sell or destroy your old equipment.

How to Unlock Workbenches

After you have crafted a handful of starter items in your hand you will need to build a Simple Workbench in order to make more complex recipes. You will be able to construct a Simple Workbench during the tutorial portion of the game when you Fortify, this is when you protect your territory by placing 3 Palisades around it, place a Wooden Coffin, and place a Wooden Stash. Once you have done this you will be rewarded with the Basic Crafting and Refinement Blueprint. To construct the Simple Workbench requires:

- 8 Planks

- 80 Stones

- 120 Animal Hides

This bench can be used to craft weapons, armor, and other items. Nearly all the Workbenches in V Rising can be unlocked by progressing through the game. The Woodworking Bench will unlock after defeating the V Blood Carrier Rufus the Foreman and its contstruction requires:

- 12 Planks

- 60 Animal Hides

This bench will be useful for making fishing rods, crossbows, wooden sculptures and much more.

You can unlock the Tannery Workbench by defeating the V Blood Carrier Keely the Frost Archer. This will let you make Leather which is used for the first Castle Heart upgrade and for higher-tier armor. The Alchemy Workbench is unlocked by defeating the V Blood Carrier Clive the Firestarter. This allows you to make Explosives and Potions. The Woodworking Bench, Tannery, and Alchemy Table are the best Workbenches in the game. Not all the Workbenches require you to defeat a boss to unlock them, sometimes you can loot them in the world. Below is a list of all the other places you can craft.

Tailoring Bench

Used to make certain Armor and other items using threads and cloth.
