Gearless and Geared are the two types of PvP in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. You start with Gearless and you unlock Geared PvP by reaching Gold Rank. You will be able to earn Diamonds in Gearless PvP and Festival Coins in Geared PvP. Festival coins are used to purchase weapons to improve stats on your characters or anvils to change gear substat rolls of SSR / UR equipment.

There are two types of Character Affection in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross - Unit Affection and Character Tree Affection. Unit Affection enables you to get free Cosmetics for stat upgrades and the possibility of getting Diamonds while Character Tree Affection allows you to get 5 Diamonds every 5 levels and 10 every 25 levels.
To gain Unit Affection you can only give a character their favorite food OR Vanya Ale / Affection Hearts. Character Tree Affection is gained through using any character in a unit tree.
