Like most RPG's The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross allows you to equip your team with gear and evolve it to improve its effectiveness. Check out our Equipment Guide to find out everything you need to know about acquiring it.
In The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross each character has 6 different slots for specific types of gears. As with the heroes themselves gears have rarity grades so it is important that you enhance the right equipment. Each piece of equipment can be levelled up through enhancement so that it matches the levelling up of your heroes. The qualities for gear are as follows (starting with the weakest).
• C
• UC
• R
• SR
• SSR
Every piece of gear in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross will have a primary stat attached to it depending on the slot it goes into. The value of the stat will be assigned at random within a pre-determined range. Items on the left, meaning Bracer, Neck, and Belt, have higher main stat values than their counterparts on the right. Once a peice of gear has reached its max level, it can be awakened using an awakening stone. This will reset the gear's enhancement level while improving its stats further and adding an additional buff.
Your team will recieve additional boosts to stats such as HP, Attack, Defence, Critical Resistance, and Recovery when they have 2 or more equipped gears with the same set bonus. To begin with you will have very limited choices as you will not have many gears but as you progress you will be able to strategise around a combination of 2 to 3 set effects that complement your character's skills and stats.
Basically all this means is you need to equip your team with the best gear available and evolve it. Taking advantage of the free daily equipment and hero draws will help you achieve this.
