• Place AoE Units Near Bends in the Path

  Look for corners and bends in the enemy path when placing units with area-of-effect (AoE) attacks. Enemies often bunch together in these spots, giving your units a better chance to hit several enemies with one attack. Try to cover as much of the path as possible without placing all your units in the same area.

• Use Hill and Hybrid Units Against Flying Enemies

  Flying enemies can get past your ground units, so make sure you have units that can attack them. Hill units can target flying enemies, while hybrid units can attack both ground and flying enemies. Check a unit's placement type and targeting abilities before taking it into a difficult stage.

• Focus Your Yen on Your Main Damage Dealers

  Don't spend all your Yen upgrading every unit as soon as you place it. Choose a strong damage-dealing unit and focus on its upgrades first. This will help you deal with stronger enemies and bosses. Once your main attacker is doing enough damage, use your remaining Yen to build up the rest of your team.

• Place Bulby or C.E.O. to Earn Extra Yen

  Farm units like Bulby and C.E.O. generate extra Yen during a match, giving you more money to place and upgrade your other units. Try to place your farm unit early and upgrade it when you can afford to. If you have the Golden trait, use it on Bulby or C.E.O. to increase the Yen they generate.

• Match Your Traits to Each Unit

  Don't reroll every unit just because you want a rare trait. Superior increases damage, Nimble helps units attack faster, and Range lets them attack from further away. Divine is a strong all-round trait for damage dealers, while Golden is especially useful on Bulby and C.E.O. Save your Star Remnants for units you regularly use rather than wasting them on characters you rarely take into battle.
