How to Slay a Dragon Guide for The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr
Dragons appear in this game and slaying one of these huge, powerful creatures is not an easy task. Our How to Slay a Dragon Guide for The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr will tell you how it can be done. You will not be able to kill a dragon alone, they are formidable enemies that have more then 14 million Health Points and several different powerful attacks to contend with.
To slay a dragon you will need to participate in an event called 'Dragon Hunts' which anyone can join and essentially forces you to work together with other players. The key to downing one of these terrifying creatures is positioning and unlike dragons in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim you will not just be able to attack it from behind or flank it as the dragons in this game have abilities that counter both of those tactics. If a Dragon becomes aware of too many players behind it, it will use its tail as a devestating weapon that causes a high amount of damage when it swipes the threat away. Flanking the dragon is just as perilous as players who get too close will become victim to the dragon's Wing Buffer which is an attack that deals more damage the closer you get to the dragon and also spawns three fire tornadoes afterward. Other attacks in a dragons arsenal are Shout of Power which is a cone-based heavy attack which you will need to block in order to avoid the knock-back and Scorch which is where the dragon uses its breath to set the ground aflame, spawning enemies in the process. This is the dragon's deadliest attack and to get away from it you need to strafe like crazy when the dragon starts flying in the your direction.
If you communicate with the other players in the Dragon Hunt you are participating in you will with the right amount of coordination and practice slay any of the dragons in the The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr. Below is a map that shows you the locations in Elsweyr were Dragons are likely to spawn.
