The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr is a MMORPG that is an expansion to The Elder Scrolls franchise. The game is set on the continent of Tamriel where fearsome Dragons soar the skies of Elsweyr leaving scorched ruin in their wake. You must explore the savannahs and canyons of Elsweyr and defend the home of the Khajiit from an ancient evil as you try to discover the dark purpose behind the Dragons rampage. Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include where to find Skyshards and how to slay Dragons. As well as these hints and tips we also have a mini-guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

What is the Necromancer Class?

Necromancer is a new class that makes its debut in The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr. Necromancers are masters of elemental damage that protect themselves with bone and flesh shields while buffing themselves and others with powerful Living Death magic.

How do you Slay Dragons?

Dragon spawn continuously throughout the day in Eslweyre and you will be rewarded handsomely if you manaage to slay one. Not only do Dragons drop great loot that you can immediately sell to merchants and items to deconstruct or research, they also provide incredibly expensive new furnishing pieces and potential motifs to those willing to grind. What are Furnishing Items?

When you come across a furnishing item that has the name 'Eslweyr' on it you should keep it and sell it as these can fetch upwards of hundreds of thousands of gold if rare enough.

What are Motif Books?

Keep an eye out for any motifs when grinding for gold in Elsweyr, these are a series of books that teach different crafting styles. They will ebe either purple or gold if you find an entire motif book and can be sold for a huge amount of gold. Selling these is one of the fastest ways in the game to get a lot of gold quickly.

Where do you find Skyshards?

In total there are 18 Skyshards in Elsweyr and finding each of them will earn you a Skill Point. Check out our Skyshard Locations Guide page to learn the whereabouts of these special collectibles.

When are 'The Season of the Dragon' Chapters Released?

All 3 of the DLCs and the Chapter that make up The Season of the Dragon storyline will be released in 2019 and will connect to each other.

Q1 - Wrathstone DLC (on Public Test Server January 21st)

Q2 - Elsweyr Chapter (Release Date: June 4th)

Q3 - Scalebreaker DLC (Date to be announced)

Q4 - Dragonhold DLC (Date to be announced)
