Defeat Optional Enemies in Side Missions

Some of the levels that you unlock in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin have side missions. These are rooms, corridors, and side paths that contain optional enemies which you can choose to engage in combat. A side mission is designated on the map by an orange diamond and can be found late in any given mission, the optional enemy within them will drop Anima Shards when you defeat them. If you turn down the difficulty setting of the game when you plan to farm these optional enemies for Anima Shards you will make the process easier.

Play Azure Memories: The Stymied Secret Mission

Located in Hallowed Massif, the Azure Memories: The Stymied Side Mission is a secret mission that is unlocked through finding a Purple Orb behind a wall that you can destroy during the Main Mission, Memories of Earth. It is possible, depending on your difficulty settings to get up to 8 Anima Shards there every 2-3 minutes. The missions itself is straight forward and not too difficult. You simply have to find a door key which can be found in a hidden treasure chest and then defeat a Malboro. The enemies you encounter in this mission are optional so once you have memorized the path to both the key and the door location you will be able to go directly there.
