Sifu Detective Board Guide

There are a total of 85 Detective Board entries in Sifu which basically function as collectibles. They come in various forms that include special enemies, keys, or flyers that provide background information. This Detective Board guide tells you where to find all the collectibles so you gain access to shortcuts, valuable intel, and unlock the following six trophies.

Detective Story (Silver Trophy):
Complete the Squats' Detective Board.

Drunken Fighter (Silver Trophy):
Complete the Club's detective board.

Martial Artist (Silver Trophy):
Complete the Museum's detective board.

Knowledge Greed (Silver Trophy):
Complete the Tower's detective board.

Healing Memory (Silver Trophy):
Complete the Sanctuary’s detective board.

Path of the Prospect (Bronze Trophy):
Unlock the mighty Calbot move.

The Squats

Fajar - The Botanist:
Found on the table by the window before you begin the first level.

The Squats:
Automatically received at the start of the game.

Obtained by encountering enemies at the start of the level.

Skull Letter:
Found on the avenue door that serves as this level's shortcut.

Avenue Door:
The Squats' shortcut, obtained by interacting with the door in the bottom floor of the first building you enter. Unlocked by the Bunch of Keys.

Obtained by inspecting the junkies hanging out in the second story of the first building you enter.

Purple Mist:
Found in the kitchen of the apartment you jump into from across the street.

Obtained after facing your first Juggernaut enemy.

Obtained in the same room you encounter your first Juggernaut enemy.

Skull Brothers:
Obtained after defeating the Twins and acquiring the Bunch of Keys.

Bunch of Keys:
Obtained after defeating the Twins.

Metal Gate:
Unlocked by the Bunch of Keys.

Club Flyer:
Found on a table in the section just past the Metal Gate.

Purple Flower:
Found on a table in the Hangar where the drugs are made.

Keycard 206:
Found just before the boss fight. Opens Fajar's room at The Sanctuary.

Private Room Door:
The locked door just before the boss. Unlocked by the Flower's Key found in Room 206 at The Sanctuary.

Found behind the Private Room Door.

The Club

Sean - The Fighter:
This item is on your Detective Board when you begin the game.

The Club:
You automatically have this at the start of the game.

Obtained by encountering enemies at the start of the level.

Finding Sean:
Obtained by talking to the bartender you meet right after entering the club.

Obtained by facing the Dancer enemy on the dancefloor.

Access Door:
Interacting with the door on the far right corner of the dance floor room earns you this board item. Opened with the Burning Pass, this is the shortcut for this level.

Code Door:
Found in the far left corner of the dance room. Opened with the Club Code received by defeating a miniboss at The Museum. Defeating the enemies within grants the Fire Key.

Fire Key:
Obtained by defeating the enemies behind the Code Door.

Sean's Disciple:
Obtained after facing your first Disciple enemy, defeating this enemy grants you the Disciple's Pass.

Disciple's Pass:
Defeating Sean's Disciple grants this board item, which opens the Access Door shortcut as well as the way forward.

Tech Guy:
This board item is obtained when you enter the Sound Booth.

The Three Trials:
Obtained when you speak to the disciple right before the trials begin and asking about the Trials.

Hacker's Key:
Obtained by speaking with the Tech Guy after acquiring Jinfeng's Computer in The Tower, and then saying 'Computer Access' and then 'The Corporation'.

Sean's Values:
Obtained by interacting with all three of the markings on the wall in the alley before the Fire Box.

Fire Box:
Found just after Sean's Values. Unlocked by the Fire Key.

Sean's Father:
Found in the Fire Box.

The Museum

Kuroki - The artist:
This item is on your Detective Board when you begin the game.

The Museum:
You automatically have this at the start of the game.

Obtained by encountering enemies at the start of the level.

Museum Map:
Found on a small table in the first area after meeting the Security.

Stairs Access:
The Museum's first shortcut, unlocked by the Museum Keycard. Found just past the first exhibition, across from the Elevator.

The second shortcut, which leads directly to the boss. Opened with the Elevator Key, which is obtained right before the boss.

Exhibition: Identity:
Picked up from the table right before entering the first exhibition.

Exhibition: Cycle:
Picked up from the table right before entering the second exhibition.

Sean's Army:
You get this board item after encountering more Disciples in the room with the lightbulbs.

Exhibition: Twins:
Pick this up from the table right before entering the third exhibition.

A tough miniboss - meeting him grants this Board item.

Museum Keycard:
Obtained after defeating the Bodyguard - unlocks the Stairs Access.

Artist Residence Door:
Locked door on the fourth floor, opened with the Artist’s Key found at The Tower.

Family Photo:
Found behind the Artist Residence Door.

Club Code:
Defeat the staff wielding woman on the third floor to receive this code, which unlocks the Code Door in The Club.

Strange Mask:
Obtained by inspecting the strange mask the woman with the Club Code was looking at.

Temporary Exhibition:
Picked up from the table right before entering the fourth exhibition.

Kuroki's Inner Circle:
Obtained automatically while making your way through the fourth exhibition.

Elevator Key:
Unlocks the Elevator, and obtained by defeating the twins just before the final boss.

The Tower

Jinfeng - The CEO:
You begin the game with this item on your Detective Board.

The Tower:
Received automatically at the start of the game.

Art Auction:
Turn left past the desk in the lobby and find this on the table against the wall.

The right-hand elevator in the lobby. Unlocked by the Elevator Keycard.

Jinfeng's Computer:
Found in Jinfeng’s office. Unlocked by the Hacker Key, which you can be obtained at The Club only after first getting this board item.

Jinfeng's Safe:
Interacting with Jinfeng's Computer after getting the Hacker Key unlocks her safe on the right side of the room. Inside, you will find the Artist's Key as well as The Guardian's Vow.

Artist’s Key:
Found in Jinfeng's Safe, and unlocks the Artist Residence Door in The Museum.

The Guardian's Vows:
Found in Jinfeng's Safe.

Gained automatically after fighting some of The Tower's staff.

The Sanctuary:
Found underneath the projector screen the room where enemies are having a conversation.

The Rift:
Obtained automatically after entering The Rift.

Hui Su:
Meeting the first mini-boss grants this Board item.

A Conspiracy:
Obtained automatically after meeting Hui Su.

Sun Mei:
This item is obtained when you encounter the second mini-boss.

Elevator Keycard:
Defeating Sun Mei mini-boss grants you this keycard, which unlocks the right-hand elevator in the lobby.

The Dawn:
Obtainedd after meeting Sun Mei for the first time.

This item is obtained after being attacked by ninja-style enemies in the Rift.

The Sanctuary

Yang - The Leader:
This item is on your Detective Board when you begin the game.

The Sanctuary:
Obtained automatically at the start of the game.

Turn left once entering the first building, then look at the left-hand table to find the Newspaper.

Inner Garden Door:
Encountered in the second room of the Sanctuary. Use the Keycard you obtained at the end of this level (right before the boss) to unlock it.

Room 206:
Found on the second story of the residential building. Unlocked using Keycard 206 from The Squats.

Flower's Key:
Found inside Room 206.

Fajar’s Medical Report:
Found in Room 206.

Aromatic Garden Door:
A locked door encountered in another garden with a Shrine. Unlocked by the Aromatic Garden Key.

Aromatic Garden Key:
Obtained by defeating the two Juggernaut-lite enemies in the area just after first discovering the Aromatic Garden Door.

The Statue:
To obtain this item inspect the statue in the Inner Garden, to the left of the stairs that lead to the boss.

Obtained after defeating the mini-boss which serves as the final enemy before the boss. Unlocks the Inner Garden Door.

Alchemist Vows:
Discovered immediately before the boss, on the last table on the right.

Yang's Flowers:
Obtained automatically after defeating Yang for the first time.

The Tombs:
Obtained automatically after defeating Yang for the first time.

The Five Values:
Obtained automatically after facing Yang for the first time.

Sacred Mountains:
Obtained after discovering the game's true ending.
