How to Unlock Vehicles

How to unlock vehicles? In Rage 2 you can unlock the vehicles you find out in the wasteland. You can also store these vehicles in your garage by driving them back to any town. Once the vehilcle is in your garage you are able to summon it from your 'Vehicles' menu whenever you want to use it. Doing so will cost you in-game cash, the amount willl depend on the type of vehicle it is.

When you enter any town there will be plenty of vehicles parked everywhere, these you cannot take and store in your garage because you are already in a town and they belong to someone else. You can however take these vehicles for a drive. In order to store a new car you have found in your garage you need to physically drive it to the town from the wasteland, you cannot use fast travel. Some of the vehicles are upgradable, they can be fitted with multiple upgrades, such as gatling guns, cannons, and defensive upgrades. These upgrades cost Auto Parts to unlock, these can be acquired by completing the Convoy missions around the map which require you to engage in vehicular combat. Alternatively, you can acquire Auto Parts from Ark Chests or by delivering new vehicles to a Trade Town.

To unlock some of the vehicles in Rage 2 you will first have to Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. This will involve earning Project Points by completing events. Once you have some go to the 'Projects' section and select 'Basic Projects with Lily Prowley'. On the lowest tier of her Projects is the 'Vehicles Extension Project' which you need to unlock using the Project Points you earned.

Below is a list of the various vehicles in Rage 2 along with how you can unlock them and a brief description.

Phoenix

The Phoenix is unlocked in the mission 'The Ranger', when you go through the Projects tutorial. This Phoenix is an all-terrain vehicle that the Rangers use. It is a fast robust vehicle that has auto-targeting machine guns.

Raptor

When you Capture & Control level 10 the Raptor will become unlocked. This Ranger vehicle is built for speed.

Icarus

When you Search & Recover level 7 the Icarus will become unlocked. The Icarus is an Ark gyrocopter that is capable of flying over rough terrain, it is able to carry one passenger.

Chazcar

The Chazcar is unlocked by completing the mission 'Wasteland Celebrity'. This vehicle was built for racing.

Xerxes III

The Xerxess III is found in the Loosom Dagger Mission. This vehicle is a slow power tank used by the Authority, it is equipped with heavy armour and a Pulse Cannon.

Pulverizer

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Pulverizer in the Wasteland. This is an agile vehicle that is equipped with electrical weapons and can drop mines, it is mainly used by the Immortal Shrouded faction.

Devastator

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Devestator in the Wasteland. The Devestator is a tank that has energy shields and serves as a sturdy, heavy guard vehicle for the Immortal Shrouded faction.

Wind Razor

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Wind Razor in the Wasteland. The Wind Razor is a bike that has electrical generators that produce chains of electricity. It is used by the Immortal Shrouded faction.

Rolla

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Rolla in the Wasteland. This is the Goon Squad's buggy, it is fast and able to drop napalm bombs that leaves trails of fire.

Booma

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Booma in the Wasteland. This is the Goon Squad's heavy tank, it is equipped with a nuke cannon.

Nippa

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Nippa in the Wasteland. This vehicle is the Goon Squad's Military bike.

Monster Truck

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Monster Truck in the Wasteland. This utilitarian vehicle was invented by the River Hogs to travel through the wetlands.

Kola Kong Conquest

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Koloa kong Conquest in the Wasteland. This is a reliable civilian vehicle that is run on Kola Kong.

BG Burger Storm Chaser

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the BG Burger Storm Chaser in the Wasteland. This is a fast and reliable civilian vehicle.

The Dumper Truck

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the The Dumper Truck in the Wasteland. Although this vehicle is sturdy and powerful it is also very slow.

Loquacious Wanderer

Initiate Extended Vehicles Project to find the Loquacious Wanderer in the Wasteland. This vehicel is a civilian trader van that roams the wasteland to haul cargo for the Trade Coalition.
