Puzzle 157 - Funky Hooks 3 |
Watch out! You might think you're used to these swinging hooks by now, but don't get cocky! Getting Layton through in one piece will be no mean feat. The hooks always swing back and forth across the same routes. Examine how they move, and plan Layton's steps carefully to get him safely across to the other side! |
Solution - Follow these steps to get Hershel safely across to the other side: 1. Go one step east and one step north. 2. Go two steps east and two steps south. 3. Go one step east and one step south. 4. Go two steps east and two steps north. 5. Go one step south and one step right. 6. Go one step north and then east to the exit. |
Puzzle 158 - A Puzzling Pyramid 3 |
As you are the best pyramid builder in the land, the king has asked you to finish this one off for him. There is, however, one important rule to consider: the difference in number between two adjacent blocks must equal the number on the block above them. For example, if the blocks marked 10 and 1 were placed side by side, the block marked 9 will have to go on top. With this in mind, can you put the remaining 14 blocks in place to finish off the pyramid? |

Puzzle 159 - Blooming Flowers 3 |
This growing family wants to keep their garden filled with flowers all year round, but they can't just be planted any old way: no flowers of the same color can be next to one another. With this in mind, use the various blocks to fill the garden with flowers. Bear in mind that the blocks of flowers can be rotated and that flowers can't be planted in the square that contains the family's house. |
Plant the flowers around the house as shown in the image. Put the last piece in the remaining spot to complete the solution. |
