Postknight 2 Pet Guide

To get a pet, you have to talk to Leila. If you haven't chosen your first pet yet, you can find Leila in Pompon (she will be near the arrow sign in the right corner of the screen). The first pet is free, once you have chosen your pet you will be able to name it. After that you can meet Leila at Caldemount (you will find her near the arrow sign in the right corner of the screen) to buy a new pet or change your pet style. Only the first pet is free, subsequent pets you will need to purchase at 480 gems each. The pets you can purchase include Pippops, Chocolet, Salamandy, Tanuchi, and Sabremew.

What do you get from Pets

When you have your pets reach max level hearts they have a chance of dropping higher level materials and even legendary gifts for the girls. The legendary gifts allow you to create a memory with the girl. Each girl has one legendary gift. For example, if you purchase the wolf pup at Pompon they will drop you Herb Almanac, Ameranne Wine, and Titanium Ore which are legendary gifts for Fleur, Dahlia, and Asteria respectively.

How to get Max Hearts for your Pet

In order to reach max level hearts with the pets you need to buy pet food from merchants in each area fit for the local pet, the only exception is blooplet's clam chow which is bought from Adrian. For example, you need to feed waterdew flower to Pippop, durian fruit to Salamander, and myke jerky to Chocoboar. The Yellow hearts on pets indicate that they are full, If the yellow heart is reduced it means they are hungry.
