In order for your character to become stronger in Postknight 2 you will need to leave the towns and participate in various activities to earn XP. This How to get XP guide will tell you the various ways aside from the main quest in which you can earn XP in Postknight 2.
Participating in these quests will enable you to get Postknight Tokens, which are required to raise your rank and unlock new content. You will find the Postknight Quests in the mailbox, and it is important to always clear any that are available. Postknight Quests are on a cooldown timer, so you will not be able to spam them to jump up the ranks.
Patrols are basically free battles that you can enter via signposts in towns. You simply have to tap the signpost and choose 'Patrol' to be able to see what areas are available to you. You can freely grind in these areas to gain raw materials, gold, and XP. Keep in mind that the more you grind in an area, the less monsters show up. Areas will replenish their stock of monsters after approximately 2 hours of downtime.
The Postknight Handbook tracks your progress through the game, and you will receive it once you have cleared stage 1-14. To access this feature, you just need to tap on the 'Activities' icon in town. Make sure when you clear stages you remember to tap on the completion stamps to claim your rewards. Promotion to the next rank requires clearing all the quests in the Postknight Handbook and like the mailbox you can turn in Postknight Tokens through the top of the screen.
The Achievement Journal highlights the awards you get for achieving certain goals, like mastery in combat and friendship levels. Makse sure you check it regularly in order to claim your Crystal Gems. The Achievement Journal is opened via the 'Activities' menu in town.
These are quests that NPCs give you and generally involve running around and completing specific tasks in order to earn a reward or unlock new items at shops. You can view your list of 'Requests' by going to the 'Activities' menu.
Wishboard Quests are the daily quests that are posted by the residents of each town. Completing these will enable you to get raw materials, gold, and even Crystal Gems as rewards. To take on these quests, you simply have to find a signboard in town, and tap on it.
The Off-Duty Schedule will enable your Postknight to passively improve themselves. There are three types of activities:
- Working
These generate gold
-Exploring
These net you resources
- Training
Enables you to build XP
Assign the off-duty activity you want to do via the 'Activity' menu when you are in town and make sure you check back every 4 hours to make the most out of this feature.
