How do I activate the ecorsist spell to defeat the ghosts?????

Just hold the button down and aim the circle at
A ghost. If it hits it will kill it

How do you get through the first set of gates once inside the castle in chapter 2?

You go free the dude missing the claws, then hell tell you to check inside that house, so you go in, talk to the man, get his claws, bring them back to him, and you should be able to pass.

Where is the anemone that you need to get the power of making sunlight?

There's a sort of shrine with a roof made of wood, go there and you should find the anemone right in the front part of it

P.S. The mini shrine/temple is right outside the area where you find the kuji shrine

P.P.S. The area is guarded by A LOT of ghosts, so you need to be quick and stealthy.
