Question for The Sims 2

I was going to buy the sims 2 for PS2 but I looked at the reviews and it's not good. People are saying you shouldn't buy it because the graphics are bad, the only age is adult, you don't get alot of clothes choices or anything and it sucks. Is this all true???Answer as soon as possible please.
