Does anybody know if you can have stairs. I have the ps2 version

No but in 2009 sims 3 is coming and you can have stairs on that!!!!!!

in sims 2 pc version they have stairs i guess they modifyed it ?

You can't make a 2 storey house on the ps2 version...only for PC
