How to Beat Mushrooms

Mushrooms are challenges in Pikmin Bloom, they are towering objects that grow at points of interest in the real world and can be destroyed to earn rewards. You will only be able to start a challenge if you are close enough to the mushroom. This How to Beat Mushrooms guide will tell you how to easily defeat these enemies.

Mushrooms in Pikmin Bloom appear randomly on the map, and they come in different sizes and colors. The size of the mushroom will determine how tough the challenge is going to be, the bigger the mushroom the harder the encounter and the more Nectar you will receive as a reward if you are successful. If you win the confrontation, you will earn Special Fruit that gives you a Rare Nectar. If you manage to beat the mushroom and get a secret 4-Star Rating, you will receive double the fruit bonus you would normally receive.

Just sending out your most powerful and toughest Pikmin to combat Mushrooms will not always work, to take down Mushrooms efficiently you need to match that Mushroom's color to do more damage. The higher the level of your Pikmin the more damage you will be able to do to the Mushroom. The Star Rating you receive when you destroy a Mushroom is determined by four factors.

- How long it takes to destroy.

- If you send Pikmin of a single color.

- If the Pikmin you send have Decor.

- The Friendship Rating of the Pikmin you send.

To get a 4-Star Rating and earn double Special Nectar rewards, you need to quickly destroy Mushrooms. Mushrooms will start to appear on the overworld map when you reach Level 15. To begin a challenge (raid) you need to walk to them physically, and you can tackle it with up to 4 friends.

Brown, Red, Yellow, and Blue Mushroom Health

Small: 4,800

Normal: 21,000

Large: 73,000

Giant: 170,000

Purple and Gray Mushroom Health

Small: 6,300

Normal: 28,000

Large: 94,000

Giant: 121,000

White and Pink Mushroom Health

Small: 3,400

Normal: 15,000

Large: 51,000
