Don't Ignore Marie
Persona 4 Golden is a big game which will take you 80-plus hours to complete. This means unless you strictly follow a guide you are unlikely to get everything done in one playthrough and there is always the possibility you will miss something important along the way. This is not a problem, the only thing you do need to pay attention to is Marie. This character was added in the Golden edition of the game and unlocks a special bonus dungeon and some extra important bits of story near the end. You only have until December 23, 2020 to max Marie's social link so keep that in mind.
December Dungeon
As with all the Persona games in the series it is beneficial to complete the monthly dungeons as early as possible in order to give yourself more flexibility for the rest of the month. The more time you have remaining after completing a dungeon the more time you will have to work on your social links as they will be available more often after you've cleared that month's task. The only exception to this rule is December's dungeon which will warp you straight to the end of the month when you complete it. Aim to complete it around December 22 so you meet the deadline and also see the Christmas Eve event.
Repeat Dungeons for Powerful Rewards
In Persona 4 Golden you can replay dungeons you have beaten a second time in order to fight an optional miniboss and get some powerful equipment for the main character associated with that dungeon. To be given the option to repeat the dungeon you simply have to talk to that character when you have progressed on to the following month's dungeon. Repeating dungeons is also a good way to farm extra EXP.
Level Up Fast
Once you are able to fuse a persona with Mind Charge and Megidola/Megidolaon spells, you can solo your way through the Golden Hands encounters and farm around 60,000 EXP and 24,000 yen for each of them. If your are unable to find a Golden Hands encounter on a level you just need to climb up the stairs and then return so they respawn.

This feature which enables you to replay Persona 4 Golden from the start with several attributes carried over can be accessed by saving the game after the credits roll, and then loading the save file. Attributes carried over include:

Unlock the True Ending
To get the true ending in Persona 4 Golden you will need to reach the point of the story where you have to decide on whether to throw Namatame inside of the TV world. It is at that point you need to be against the idea and follow very specific dialogue choices. These are listed below:
1. Any option is fine
2. 'Wait a second here...'
3. 'We're missing something'
4. 'Namatame's true feeling'
5. 'Something's bothering me'
6. 'We're missing something...'
7. 'Calm the hell down!'
Later you will have to decide who the true killer is. Select Adachi and tell your friends about how you feel about the whole thing. Now, the player will unlock the dungeon that leads the player into the true ending. After that, the player will reach the point of saying goodbye to their friends. Do not pick the option that sends you home. Instead head over to the Junes Food Court, and you will unlock the true ending.
