Question for The Sims 2
Why doesn't the "make selectable" cheat not always work? Whenever I click it the person isn't selectable but when I try again the option is changed to "make unselectable". It will work every once in awhile but not very often.

Because it is a cheat, it is not 100% reliable. All the cheats won't work every time, just most of the time.
Don't overdo it with cheats. It can cause glitches in the game, and can take all the fun out of it too.

I used to use the make selectable cheat. I no longer use it because I found something that is less work to use and much better... Works every time. It's a hack made by "Dolphin26" called "ControlThisSim" and is found here: http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=140314
If you add the hack the "Control this sim" option is added to all unselectable sims. All you do is click on them and select it.
