Just press escape on the keyboard.

Type exit in the cheat box and that will close it.

All you ave to do is click on the box and then press the escape button.

All you have to do is press exit and the cheat bar will go away.

Just type in exit then press enter. In the Sims 2 you can find out that and a few other cheats by typing help in the cheat window.
