How do you get a mermaid tail?

Try mod the Sims. I saw one there. All you have to do is click the search box then click sims 2 then type mermaid then hit enter or click the magnifying glass.

which sims 2 do you have? the only mermaide tail that i know of is a dress that only children can have.

I know you can get mermaids on the sims 2 website and on mod the sims but they require download.

I think you could use this Expansion pack (Family Fun Stuff) it has mermaid tails for little girls , if you use body shop , click new project , click onto childrens clothes on the side bit , then onto little girls , and find a mermaid tail , then click export object enter a name for it , then select the ages you want for it and click import to game, you can then recolor it for boys too (using paint), just go onto body shop , do the exact same thing but click on little boys clothes export object enter a name , go onto to Start/Documents/EA Games/Sims 2/Projects/then your oroject name click on the coloured one and use the fill bucket or paint brush to color it then save it , go back onto sims 2 body shop , click the little arrow next to the import outfit to game and then it will refresh it and VOILA you have mermaid tails!!

You get a mermaid tail by making your sim a scientest then make a potion use you're DNA and fish DNA drink the potion and you have a mermaid!!

All you need to do is go to mod the sims. There is links to downloads there that actually make your sim a mermaid. I am going to try Guest's little trick and I suggest you do too before you download something that could cause A worm or Virus.

I don't know how to get a mermaid on the sims 2 pets tho and when I find one I can't get it because of the pets
