My sim wont Take a shower!

You could just fufill all there needs by typing in: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true. Then you shift click on the mailbox and their needs are green until you go somewhere else, then they start to deteriorate from the green.

I'm just asking to be sure--have you checked to make sure that the shower is not blocked by a wall or another piece of furniture? If the shower is turned to face the wall or blocked, the Sims will throw a tantrum. Even if it is totally accessible, try moving it somewhere else to make sure. I say this because I had a similar problem with homework, the teenager would place his homework on the closest side of the desk, but that side didn't have a chair, so when I told him to do his homework he kept flipping out about the chair every day for a week. Wherever they set their homework down is where they will sit down to do it, but they can only sit at the other side of the desk where the chair is. I finally went into Buy mode and manually moved his homework to the side with the chair and now he does his homework. I have to do this for him every day so far, but I think it will stop if I find a different place for the desk.

have you checked that there able to get to there shower and that nothing is in their way? and if thats not the problem than try getting another form of hygeine like a spa or a bath hope that helps

The same thing happened to me..make sure the shower door is acessible because it might be facing the wall
