How Do I Create A 2nd Floor On The Sims 2

I have put everything I want upstairs but I cannot get any walls to surround it how can I do this???

Try putting a floor on top of the first floor walls, that way your walls will be able to have something for them to rest on.

Well, if you have stuff "upstairs" then you should have a floor. If you dont...then put a floor over top of the grid.(remember you can choose what floor you want by pressing page up and page down).Then what you can do it go to the build section, and click on walls, then click and drag your walls. If this still doesnt work, go to the build section and click on roofing, then click remove roof, then build your walls, then redo you roof.

Its basically what you did to build the first floor..

Open the cheat window and type highestAllowedLevel 5

You could put what ever amount you want. 5 represents the number of floors you are allowed to build.

I don't no how to build a second floor I've tried all the things that's been said and it didn't work

Pressing pgup and pgdn on your keyboard will change the floor you are on. You can then use flooring and walls on rthe grid that shows. Hope I could help
