Question for The Sims 2

I have a stupid question.
After I used the Mod Bed and finally stopped freaking out because I couldn't find out how to get my original skin color back (but I did), I told myself to never use any of those skin color changing items ever again. Though... When I saw the tanning booth in the Gym and Spa, I got too curious and used it. Now I don't know how to get my original color back. Is it possible? How? Thank you. Sorry for the stupidity.

Eventually the tan fades. Its not permanent.
