Question for The Sims 2

Every couple of days when I am playing things pop up like "You have just unlocked Crime Spree Bobs Concept Art". On the main menu when I hit settings I can see many peoples concept Art. What do I do with them?
How can I use it in the game?

Nothing. Although, some of them give hints about extras in the game, like the "cute Ghost" or the "Grim Cowboy". I don't know what the cowboy does, but I do know the cute ghost can be obtained by buying it's painting and hanging it somewhere in the hotel. Then it will appear randomly and when it's in the same room with you it can help you with conversational exchanges. It also unlocks the mission where the hotel is claimed haunted by a guest and you have to rescue them from the ghost by sucking it up with the hoover. But it comes back.
