That same thing happened to me,and it never worked on that account, but I made another one and it works perfectly.This time I save it on all three save slots, so if one screws up, I have the other 2 with the same time and date and all! Sorry, but if it happens you have to start all over :(

The same thing happened to me twice, it usually happens when after you have alot of mummified aliens and go in the Government Lab. After you "dissect" all of the aliens the game still thinks you have them in your Pockets, so that's why it freezes on your pockets.
