How do I rescue sims from the Ghost? I cannot figure it out !!!

Ok I'm going to answer this although it was asked a long time ago. You have to go to the place where the ghost is and then wait until it touches the floor and vacuum him up and he'll be gone. It took me a long time to figure this out.
