Defeating optimum alfred

I've been trying to defeat optimum alfred for days and I don't get what I'm doing wrong because the first button lights up, I press it and it turns green, then the second button lights up, I do that thing and it turns green most of the time. The third button never lights up though even if the first and second lit up green so do I have to do the routine a certain amount of times or something because no one else seems to have any trouble making the third button light up!

Ok so I just beat optimum alfred. You have to defeat him as the ratticor ( I'm not sure if it's spelled that way), a rat based hero who can defeat evil robots. So, you have to go up to the sundeck, defeat him once, defeat his four friends, defeat him again, defeat his four friends again, and then if you defeat him for the third time, you've defeated him for real. Hint: to make it easier to complete it, have your sanity at 100% so that you don't go insane so easy.
