Once you have completed the story in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak it is essential that you increase your Master Rank in order to unlock new more powerful monsters which drop rarer materials when you defeat them. These materials can then be used to craft rarer and more 'end game' items. Take a look at our How to Quickly Increase your Master Rank guide to find out the different ways you can do this.
Capture or Slay more Master Rank Monsters.
The fastest way to begin with is by capturing or slaying the Master Rank monsters. Look to complete the quests that have multiple monsters in them as they are easier. Although they grant less HP they are more manageable than their solo counterparts. Once you reach Master Rank 30 slaying Master Rank monsters or Afflicted versions of them hardly adds any points to your Master Rank.
Clear High Master Rank Quests
Although the high Master Rank Quests feature monsters that are more difficult to defeat they also reward you better loots and higher Master Rank points when you complete them. Upgrade your equipment to its highest level and farm the more difficult quests.
Complete Monetary Quests
Focusing on the quests that offer the higher monetary rewards in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will give you more Master Rank when you compete them. It is recommended that you farm these quests that are situated inside the Arena map as it removes the travel time between points.
Wyvern Riding
An effective way to defeat monsters is to Wyvern Ride your way to victory by having the monsters fight each other. Ram and use the other monster so that you can then use it to whittle down the HP of your other target's. Keep in mind that Wyvern Riding has a cooldown, and you can ride the same monsters again after some time.
